So here's the latest since I have so long neglected my blog. I have been on maternity leave for over a few weeks already because my blood pressure has been slowly increasing each week. As a result they put me on bed rest (not fun!) to try to keep my blood pressure down long enough for McKaylah to be full term. So...I'm officially full term, and my blood pressure has since increase again over the last week. As a result, we are inducing labor early because waiting could cause more serious problems for the both of us. I go into Seton Hospital on 38th St tonight at 8pm and if everything goes as planned then they will start to induce me around 6am tomorrow. I know there was concern about having to have a C-section, but it we are going to try to do this naturally and hopefully everything will progress as it should. Thank you to everyone for their support and prayers! I know I'm going to be in the hospital for a couple of days and I expect there to be a period of adjustment when we do go home so please don't be offended if you don't hear from us immediately. Matt is going to be keeping everything posted by email so if there are any email addresses for anyone that we are missing or if there are different addresses you want pictures/updates emailed to, please send them to me. Matt is taking the laptop to the hospital so email is the best way to communicate. :) We are beyond thrilled and excited and we only have 24 hours to go!
