New Year's Picture

We got this picture as Nikki and Eric were leaving after the New Year's Eve party. I look terrible but it's the only one of me the whole night. Nikki looks great! In my defense I would just like to say it was about 2-2:30am and it was WAY past my bedtime. lol! And this is the only shot of my belly so far. It's not a great one but when I get a better one I will put it up.

This shot is of our bon fire which was definately awesome but way too out of control in the beginning. The wind started to blow it around so much that the flames practically bowed to the ground! And that was with Matt decreasing the amount of wood that was on there originally. It was about 8 feet high in the beginning and he brought it down to about 4-5 feet. I would like to say I finally got a true s'more made over a fire! Hooray for me! Everyone thought I was weird that I had never had one that way. lol!

Just a little update....

Okay so I haven't posted in awhile. Christmas has come and gone and so has New Year's. I hope everyone's was safe and truly special. Our holiday was great. We have been working on the house, the baby plans, and our health. Matt's surgery that he had in December is pretty much all healed and I have officially returned back to work as of this past Monday. I'm a little bummed out because I'm going to have to miss my Aunt Wendy's wedding this Friday in Tennessee, but we are definately sending our well wishes her way.

Nikki has been working fast and furious on our baby shower which is scheduled for 02/16/07. Invites will be going out this week sometime. We are working on putting McKaylah's nursery together. It's slow going but you can see the color scheme we are going for if you check out our registry on Target.com or BabiesRus.com. There's a bedding set by MiGi that's got pink and reddish flowers that will go perfect with her room. We are really excited! We just attended a meet and greet seminar to meet the other doctors that may end up doing the delivery if my OB is not available. Both Matt and I learned a lot and McKaylah was kicking up such a storm while we were there that Matt got to feel it. We were in an audortorium with a hundred pregnant women and 8 OBs. I kept waiting for someone to go into labor. lol! We have a childbirth prep class all day on 02/02/08 which should be interesting. And then after the babyshower it's just a matter of counting down the weeks. :)
